We promise transparent pricing. Our general events menus include exact prices for every menu item and our suggested wedding menus all include a range of per-person prices. Additional pricing information ranging from setup to delivery are listed below.

Tasting
Cost of the food prepared, which is credited back to you when you book your event or wedding with us. Held on weekdays between 1-3 pm at CKC Good Food’s Commissary in Eagan.

Disposable eatery and napkins included. Linens, flatware and china are available for rent.
Basic Package: $4.50/unit total

Loaned Items
Serving utensils and chafing pans included, as needed. $150 deposit required.
Note: Pick up of rental and loaned equipment: $50/trip. To avoid multiple charges, please have all equipment ready for initial pick up. Each additional trip will be charged at $50/trip.
Labor
Staffing Rate
Service staff may be hired for $28-40/hour (depending on the season) for a 3-hour minimum. The shift starts when the servers arrive at our commissary to load items for delivery and ends after they unload at our commissary. Must be scheduled 2 weeks in advance.
Gratuity of 15-20% is recommended and sincerely appreciated.
Labor Options
We offer three different ways to serve food, and recommend the below staff needs based on the serving style selected.
Plated: Great for a polished, formal dining experience.
- One server for every 10-15 guest.
Family Style: Great for feeding a large group in under 30 minutes.
- One server for every 20-30 guests.
Buffet: Great for letting your guests pick what they want and a big saver on labor
- Under 50 people: one sided buffet and no server needed. Breakdown and clean up on your own.
- 51-100 people: two sided buffet and one server highly recommended.
- 101-250 people: two buffet lines, both double sided, and one server recommended for each line.
Note: The number of servers will go up if you do a rental package.
Cake Cutting
Cake cutting must be agreed upon before event so we plan accordingly.
- Cutting non-tiered cakes only: Free
- Cutting any style cake and plating: $35

General events clients
- Under 4 miles roundtrip from CKC Good Food’s commissary: Free
- 4-50 miles roundtrip M-F, 7am-4pm: $50
- 4-50 miles roundtrip M-F, before 7am and after 4pm: $75
Wedding clients
- Up to 80 miles roundtrip from CKC Good Food’s commissary: Free
- Beyond 80 miles roundtrip: $125
Other Fees
- Administrative fee: $1.25/person
- Applicable sales tax
- Credit card processing fee of 3% passed to you if you choose that payment method
- Any charge your venue may assess to us for your event.
ADMINISTRATIVE FEE
Pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 177.23, Subd. 9, the administrative fee is not a gratuity for employee service and is not the property of any specific employee. This fee is a standard industry charge that is used to help cover non-itemized costs of producing your event, such as: wear and tear on equipment, dishwasher labor, utilities, insurance, etc. This fee covers costs on the back end that go into the event aside from food & beverage.
SALES TAX
Sales tax will be applied to all invoices in accordance with state and local tax regulations. Sales of meals to schools, non-profit organizations, government units, and their employees/representatives are taxable unless you are a tax-exempt federal agency or have specific state tax exemptions. To be considered tax-exempt, a completed ST3 form must be on file. Please inquire if you have questions.
Additional Information
PRICING
The prices listed on our food menus are current as of the day of printing, but are subject to change due to the fluctuations in market place and other factors. Pricing will be confirmed once a deposit is made. Final menu selections must be received 45 business days prior to the event date and pricing will be reevaluated and locked in at that time. The items most commonly affected are protein (example: beef, fish, chicken). If there is a fluctuation in protein items, due to market cost, they will not exceed 5% of the corresponding price(s) listed in the signed contract.
MEAL COUNT GUARANTEES
Final meal count guarantees are due 15 days prior to the event date. Any additions after 15 days and prior to event date will be charged the meal price plus an additional $10 fee. If CKC Good Food Event Catering has not been notified within the 15 day time frame, the number of guests noted in the signed contract will become the guaranteed number of guests expected. Your final count is considered a guarantee and not subject to reductions after the due date. Your final billing will be based on this guarantee or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. If the actual number of guests served is greater, we will do our best to accommodate you the day of, but the additional number of guests will be charged the meal
price plus a $10 fee.
UNRETURNED OR DAMAGED ITEMS
You agree to be responsible for any unreturned or damaged catering items; inventory, equipment, table accessories, or other property owned by CKC Good Food Event Catering. If items are unreturned or damaged, you will be notified and billed at the current market replacement rate for the item(s), plus a 15% administration/restocking fee. Payment must be received within one week of the invoice date. CKC Good Food Event Catering will assume no financial responsibility for unreturned or damaged property brought to the facility by you, your guests, or outside vendor.
Signing/Payment
DEPOSIT
A minimum of 90 days is required to book your event; for a buffet service, a minimum of two weeks is required. To reserve your event date, a signed contract and deposit are required for all full service events. The deposit of 50% of the estimated cost is non-refundable 90 days before the event date. The other 50% is required 30 days before the event date.
PAYMENTS
All deposits will be applied to the final bill. The remainder is required 30 days before the event date. Any additional payments will be collected at the conclusion of the event or the following business days (i.e. add-ons the day of.) Any overpayments will be refunded within one week. Accounts remaining unpaid beyond 30 days are subject to an additional service charge.
Cancellation
All cancellations are required in writing, dated, and signed by both you and CKC Good Food Event Catering. A cancellation form can be provided upon your request. If notice of cancellation is given 120 days before the event date, the deposit and payments applied will be refunded. If notice of cancellation is less than 120 days before the event date, the deposit will become non-refundable.
